Thicc Pizza Co., located in the vibrant 505 Central Food Hall in Albuquerque, NM, is quickly becoming the go-to destination for pizza lovers. Boasting a unique take on deep-dish pizza, the restaurant's offerings have drawn rave reviews from patrons who appreciate a hearty and flavorful slice. Customer Jenna Bishop noted the delightful balance of savory and sweet tomato sauce, complemented by fresh, gooey cheese that promises an ideal “cheese pull” experience. This emphasis on high-quality ingredients is echoed in K.E. van der Gaarden’s description of the generous toppings and authentic Brooklyn-style feel.
The crust at Thicc is celebrated for its delightful texture, wonderfully golden and crispy on the outside while remaining soft within, as highlighted by Everett Haydon's experience. For those with dietary restrictions, Thicc offers a delicious vegan option, which Meagan Hoover found incredibly satisfying, thanks to its flavorful veggies and homemade dressing that stood out alongside the pizza.
Each dish at Thicc Pizza Co. embodies a spirit of quality and care, with everything made from scratch—including their sauces and seasonings. If you’re looking for pizza that combines nostalgia with modern culinary artistry, this establishment is truly a must-visit.

First time trying Thicc Pizza Co. this weekend, and was pleasantly surprised! The “thiccness” came into play in that it was a deep dish pizza, such as a pan pizza. Sauce was a good mix of savory/sweet, with real tomato chunks. The cheese was the absolute best part overall. The cheese was so fresh, and made a perfect “cheese pull” effect when separating the slices. Topped with their special seasonings and freshly grated cheese it was beautifully presented. Absolutely 5/5 stars for this place, and will definitely be bringing our friends/family here!

The team is so nice, and their pizza is SO good! This is the pizza I remember from living in pre-gentrified Williamsburg, Brooklyn as a young Dutch team. Equally important; when you ask for pepper flakes they give you a lot! And even thought of giving me ample napkins for my take out order. I've had the Detroit Style cheese and pepperoni last year which was great, this time just cheese. What really sets apart Thicc's is the fresh basil and the generous amount on their pizza. Delicious, reasonably priced and tastes like made with TLC. Enjoy!

By far the best Detroit Style pizza I’ve had in the southwest! May also be some of the best pizza that I’ve had in general. The 505 Food Hall has some great options but you can’t pass up Thicc. The crust is amazing. Throw some honey hot sauce and this outstanding. It is truly difficult to pick a favorite.

My husband and I found ourselves at the 505 Food Hall for lunch today and decided to give this place a try. I have a dairy allergy so the manager,Derrick (awesome guy!) recommended I try the vegan pizza. I liked all the veggies it had listed (arugula, artichoke, mushrooms, olives and tomato) and WOW did it deliver. The crust is definitely THICC and you don't even miss the cheese because the olive oil and balsamic glaze were perfectly soaked into the crust. We also decided to try their green salad. The dressing was homemade and stole the show! A great compliment to the pizza. Def give this place a try! Great food and friendly staff!

I have got to say that my last "deep dish" pizza experience was Little Ceasars. This was well beyond that in flavor, quality and texture. My wife and I split "The 8 Mile" pizza. The sauce was wonderfully flavorful, the crust was beautifully golden on the bottom and cooked through, the flavor and texture of both the mozzarella and the pepperoni were fantastic. The addition of the fresh grated parm, fresh basil, extra sauce and ricotta dollops were definitely a plus. I am a fan of salt so I personally finished the pizza with a little salt and spent the extra 1 for a side of sauce. The cheese crust that forms on the edge when baking was magical: perfectly crispy with an edge if a nutty flavor. It certainly did not taste burnt. Will order again! Note: the server said he is not personally a big sauce fan and prefers cheesy. He said his go to is the Rita. Maybe next time (with extra sauce).

Stopped by on a Friday evening and had no problem getting a seat in the food hall at around 530 or so. We ordered the Detroit pizza with pepperoni. (Now I will say I am a bit snobbish about Detroit pizza as I am originally from Michigan and I have probably eaten at the original Buddy’s pizza in Detroit on Conant at least a dozen times). Overall, it was one of the best pizzas I have had in Albuquerque. The crust was nice and sauce flavorful. It had a little more cheese than I am used to but I guess the more the merrier. Pizza came out in around 15 minutes so not too long a wait. Nice stop.

One of my Top 5 pizza spots here in Albuquerque. The pizza is baked fresh and takes some time. If you are in a rush order ahead. Great place to stop by in the 505 Food Hall. Pizza was great. Pepperoni was crispy but not burnt and the crust brought the slice together.

So far the restaurants in the 505 Central Food Hall have NOT disappointed me at all. I ordered, “The 8 Mile” today at the Thicc Pizza Co. I really enjoyed the baked/toasted cheese around the entire pizza. I also love lots of tomato sauce; good good flavor, made the pizza great. They are also very liberal with their cheese portions. It was a very pleasant meal. I also ate at Meteor Burger (to-go) yesterday, but haven’t got around to adding a review. The burger was excellent also.
